Jacksonville radio news anchor Ed Moore III will host a broadcast tonight that will focus in on issues surrounding the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.

Jacksonville, Alabama (WLJS) -- Northeast Alabama broadcaster Ed Moore III will host a one of a kind radio special tonight that will focus on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, also known as the LGBT community.
Moore will host a program with a panel of guests that will discuss the struggles of growing up as gay, lesbian or bisexual, including insight on secretive gay and bisexual lifestyles, high profile cases of hate crimes against gay people, being gay in the world of sports, as well as the United States Supreme Court decisions this summer concerning same-sex marriage.
Moore also reports one of his guests is a transsexual that was born a male and now identifies as a female.
This is the first time Moore has independently covered human sexuality and gender transition for WLJS since the beginning of his tenure at the station over two years ago.
“Outfront: Stories From The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community” will air live tonight at 8 P.M. Central Time / 9 P.M. Eastern.
Northeast Alabama listeners may tune into 91.9 FM. The broadcast will also air live online at www.wljsnews.weebly.com.
